Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has insisted he has no plans to sign out-of-favour AC Milan front-man Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Emirates Stadium supremo has openly stated he is in the market for a striker after Robin van Persie sustained a serious injury, but Wenger has revealed that Huntelaar - also reportedly wanted by Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United - is not his man.

The 26-year-old has failed to impress in Italy, starting only five games and scoring two goals since his summer move from Real Madrid, fuelling speculation that he will seek another move in the January window.

However, the former Ajax talisman's next destination will seemingly not be Arsenal, although a move to either Old Trafford or White Hart Lane could still be on the cards.

"I am surprised he never plays but he is not on our radar," Wenger told the Gunners' official website.

"I don't believe this kind of player can move. I am not sure he can move again in this transfer period because he has already moved once this season."
